We usually have some cats at the rescue who have lived as feral or stray cats and are not friendly enough to be homed as indoor pets. If you would be interested in providing one of these cats a home, please view our list of ‘Outdoor’ cats.

Cornflake is a very friendly large cat. He was homed from us recently and was much loved, but he didn’t have access to a garden and he made it clear that he would like to go outside. Cornflake is such a gentle character and will be an ideal pet. If you have a home with access to a garden please consider him.

Shah and Batman come from Spain and have their own passports. Their owner died. Both are shy, Shah is very fussy once he gets to know you. Batman didn’t hide as long as Shah, but he is more shy.

Cass and Percy have been through a difficult time living with their owner in a van. They were both rather scruffy when they arrived at the rescue. Although they are shy, both will happily have a fuss. They are improving every day. They just need a quiet home with an understanding family.

Iris is Daisy’s mother. Iris was very feisty when she arrived at the rescue. She went on to have kittens and gradually she calmed down and will now come for a fuss and rub her face on your hand. She is still nervous though and will need time and attention. Her kitten is a friendly little thing and will help her mother to gain confidence.

Rascal is shy compared to Sassy who can’t get enough fuss and attention. Rascal spends most of her time in bed whereas Sassy is always playing and hunting shadows. Their previous owner died and these lovely cats deserve to find another home.

Gatsby was a stray being fed in Birmingham. One day his feeder noticed he had a wound on his back and took him to the vet. Gatsby is healing and doesn’t need any treatment. He is very friendly and loves to roll around and have a fuss.
